Sandy Holified has been elected as an Honorary Life Member of the Southern Economic Development Council. The vice president of the Jones County Economic Development Authority was recognized recently at the SEDC annual conference in Mobile, Ala.
The HLM designation is the SEDC’s highest award and it recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the profession in one or more of SEDC’s footprint states.
Holifield has been an active member of SEDC since 1993. She has been an SEDC Committee Chairwoman, an alternate director and state director for Mississippi.
SEDC Chairman Samuel Powers said, “Sandy Holifield is a consummate economic development professional who has made a demonstrable difference in the communities he has served. She richly deserves to be recognized.”
