SJ War Path

South Jones High School marching band War Path competed on Saturday in the Rocket City Invitational at Neshoba Central in Philadelphia and was selected Overall Grand Champion. The band received first place in overall music performance, visual effect, general effect and percussion, plus it was selected first-place band in Class C and first-place percussion in Class C. The color guard was second in Class C. Pictured is Director of Bands Brian Joyce with the SJ Band Council and seniors. Separately, War Path received all-superior ratings in each category — drum major, percussion, color guard and band — Saturday at state evaluations.
