Cop’s son says police ‘didn’t do their job’
MEADVILLE — A Franklin County jury found Greg Burroughs not guilty of manslaughter in the death of his girlfriend, 23-year-old Katherine Sinclair. The jury deliberated for about an hour before reaching the verdict.

MEADVILLE — Jurors heard text messages between Greg Burroughs and Katherine Sinclair that showed just how volatile their relationship had been in the final days of her life.
District Attorney Tony Buckley questioned LPD Lt. Shannon Caraway on redirect and helped “clean up” some of the statements she made on body-cam video and under tough cross-examination by defense attorney Tracy Klein.

MEADVILLE — Officer Josh Freeman of the Laurel Police Department testified that Katherine Sinclair had “a rag draped over her face, just under her nose” and there was “only a small amount of blood on the rag” despite “profuse bleeding” from a gunshot wound to her head.
