The good-hearted Sennes were easy pickings, because they are not related to anyone in the county and don’t have political connections. 

What the Sheriff and those assisting him did not count on was the public outcry and scorn for what they did to this couple. Some things can be forgiven if those committing the offense are contrite, but will never be forgotten. 

I have personally seen animals on the side of the roads in Jones County and in that vicinity that were nothing but skin and bones. No doubt in my mind that some of these animals wound up at the Sennes property, because the local no-kill shelters could not/would not take them. 

People have long memories and those perpetrating and complicit in the actions taken against this couple will not be forgotten.
